The bright stones of East Berlin Beach, Nova Scotia roll towards the sea as receding waves form a scene resembling an army of ghostly spirits. This coastline has been battered by major North Atlantic storms, smoothing the stones to perfection. Some say you can hear this photograph when you stare at it in complete silence.
