Earrings and Ear Cuffs Collections Snowflake Obsidian and Copper Earrings

Snowflake obsidian is the focal of these herringbone weave drop earrings. The snowflake obsidian beads are 6mm. The copper is reclaimed and has been patinated, polished, and sealed. The drops are 1.25" tall by .5" wide and hang from  surgical steel lever back ear wires. 

Snowflake Obsidian is said to have grounding and protective properties. It is believed to help keep one centered and rooted in the present moment, making it useful for individuals who tend to daydream or feel disconnected. The white "snowflake" patterns on the stone are said to symbolize purity and can represent the purification of negative energies and toxins from one's life.

Copper is the great conductor and the metal of the magician. It amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channelling as well as grounding, thus considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid tissue repair, blood support, and increase vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, supporting my eco-friendly mission; "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
