It's a crisp, cold winter day near the Bay. A light dusting of snow covers the ground and outlines the tree branches. The cool, bright colours of the winter sky are a backdrop for the trees and understory of the forest. The snow squeaks under your boots as you make you way along the trail. Crows call to each other. But for that, it is absolutely quiet.
